Well I was a little late doing it, but I have taken down my work until Next year. The occassional Fiction Friday post may find it's way here, but I believe most of those will land on The Fanciful Muse until I begin again in November.
I hope everyone did great for NaNoWriMo.
See you next year!
Unless... in March I decide to participate in National Novel Editing Month.

I DID IT!!!!
My word processor gave me a word count of 50,058 words. However the word validator on NaNo told me I was nine words shy. One more sentence and voila! I win with 50,004 words!

I'll leave my current work up for the next week, then will take it all down until next year. Good luck to all my fellow NaNo'ers out there!

Technical Difficulties
My computer is experiencing technical difficulties at the moment, so I am posting from another computer. Today's word count was not nearly as good as I hoped it would be. I had set myself a daily word goal of about 2,000 words inorder to give myself a buffer over the minimum of 1,667 per day. But with a migraine headache, and a full day's activities involving small children, I suppose I should consider myself lucky I was able to turn out anything at all today.
I made a measly 550 words today, which hopefully I will post here soon.
Today's Word Count: 550
Total Word Count: 5,624

This template is a temporary fit for personal reasons. I will have the previous template back up soon, God willing! Please ignore the blasé template for now.

Back In Business
My chapters are back up. You can click on the chapters link and select your chapter. Just as a note after the screen has refreshed you will need to click on "Posts" for the archived chapter to show up. It's a glitch in the page code I have yet to work out. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It's Coming Again!
Here I am gearing up once again for that crazy caffeinated stretch of a month in which I will laugh, cry, tear out my hair, and look like a wide eyed, mad typist. Oh wait... Mr. Muse says that's normal for me. Oh well. The marathon approaches and I am waiting patiently for the 1st of October to hit so that I can sign up for this year's NaNoWriMo. Logic tells me I'm insane. Logic screams that it was hard enough last year with the three mini muses. Logic says with essays, dissertations, tests, tests, and more tests to worry about with school this year, that I'm utterly insane to believe I can attempt this.
I'm telling logic where it can stick it. That cute little novel I was working on last year is still as yet unfinished. And I swear it shall be done this year. Mwahahahahahahaha! See you in November!

WINNER!
Today concludes NaNoWriMo for this year. I made the 50,000 word goal, but apparently 50,000 words is still too few words for me to tell the length of my tale. I will probably continue to work on this book throughout the year and if I haven't finished it by next November... well NaNoWriMo will give me an exuse to give it another 50,000 word shot in the arm. I've taken down my work in progress for now.
Congratulations to all you other NaNoWriMo'ers out there! WE DID IT!
